In Search of Heroes

This is an age when the nation searches for heroes
as a man thirsting for three days seeks a drop of water.
Governed by fallacy
while sunk in a pool of boiling sulfur,
the nation looks to the caped saviors in the fantasies for salvation --
not realizing
that the heroes she searches for lie within herself.
The awakened masses are not just some soaring rescuer
with power summoned by a stone or a barbell:
they are Messiah, they are Messiah!
Show them the heroes within themselves
and they shall bring the false rulers to the guillotine
and they shall lift this country
from the pool of boiling sulphur.
