Finishing Touches

A young man applies the finishing touches to an intricate woodcarving for display to tourists frequenting Asin Road in Baguio City, 246 kms. north of Manila. The place is part of a village widely known for the woodcarving prowess of its residents. The woodcarvers here are considered to be the best in the country. Here, woodcarving is a family endeavor as everyone has a share in the work.
