PHOTO OF THE WEEK

Jazz, Dutch Style

On a Sunday morning in one of the parks of Amsterdam, three musicians play jazz in public to spectators who may shell out tokens (optional). The music is good, the ambiance is just perfect, and the group has actually produced music CDs. Bikes, parked just beside the group, will come in handy when the performers move to other parks of The Netherlands’ multinational, multi-ethnic and overcrowded city. The music sounds scintillating that one may never notice that at the animated musicians’ backs are two big white and open urinals for males.
