Misuari, a Victim of Electoral Fraud in Sulu?

It appears that not only opposition senatorial candidates and progressive party-list groups were the victims of electoral fraud and violence in the ARMM. Even Nur Misuari, founder and leader of the Moro National Liberation Front which is strongest in Sulu, Jolo, and Tawi-Tawi, was victimized, said his supporters.

Pandemonium and scuffles broke out in several precincts as special elections were held in Lanao del Sur towns. With soldiers deployed in schools and halls leading to precincts, which were littered with garbage and reeking of manure, and with many ballots left uncounted, one would ask what’s so “special” about the special elections held here on May 26.
