Student rights defender, transwoman, and scientist Jandeil Roperos has accepted the challenge as the third nominee of Kabataan Partylist in order to amplify the call for free and accessible education for all.
Standing on the stage, looking at the crowd in front of her, Kabataan Partylist Sarah Elago asked, “Am I too young to change the world?”
“Almost all of the expenses were taken from our savings. Aside from this, it is taking a constant toll on our mental wellbeing especially since we have to think about our work and studies during the [supposed] recovery period.”
