Campaign against Marcos and Martial Law (CARMMA) said that by allowing Marcos Jr. to run as president in the upcoming elections, “Commissioners [Aimee] Ferolino and [Marlon] Casquejo have sided with the brazen lies and crimes of the Marcoses.”
“Simply put, Marcos Jr. is a convicted criminal and a shameless liar who should not be allowed to run for public office, especially the highest and most powerful position in the land.”
“We will never tire in reiterating that the hands of the Marcoses are bloodied and dirty.”

“No compromise, no immunity!” called out the protesters, saying the Marcos family should return its stolen wealth without any condition.
The groups decried that Marcos is not a hero and had amassed $10 billion dollars, plundered the country’s resources and committed massive human rights violations against the people.
Martial law activists and youths call on the public to join the fight in the arena which the Marcoses cannot control: the streets.
“We cannot accept the rehabilitation of the Marcoses, and their kind of leadership based on swindling, lies, deception.”
“The environmental crimes committed during the dictatorship are bound to happen again if Bongbong Marcos gets one step closer to Malacañang.”
“We, Bangsamoros, cannot forgive because those responsible for Martial Law have never been brought to justice.”
A gathering of martial law activists and victims pledged to keep retelling their painful stories, so the younger generation would not let these happen again.
