PHOTO OF THE WEEK

Forget the Cold

Temperatures in the Philippines dropped beyond all expectations in recent weeks. In Baguio City (246 kms north of Manila) – known as the “resort capital of the Philippines” for its chilly weather – the unusually cold weather reportedly reached a low six degrees causing its residents to don winter clothing. This Igorot woman, however, does not seem to mind the biting cold much. All she has on for warding off the chill is a thin blazer, and see the cone full of ice cream that she’s enjoying amid the cold.
