CAN’T BUY THEM LOVE 

The blind couple, often seen begging for the sympathy of passersby along Session Road and by the Baguio City Cathedral, heads for home after calling it a day. Theirs is literally a case of the blind leading the blind, but this does not seem to bother them; the darkness that engulfs them is not enough to shake their sense of safety by each other’s side. You can’t eat love, the cynical say, but their sense of safety in each other’s company – considering their peculiar circumstances – is something that all the money in the world cannot buy.
