PHOTO OF THE WEEK

Working On

Looking exhausted, an elderly ambulant fruit vendor carries a big basket of longgan, a Chinese fruit, atop her head while treading along the pedestrian lane on Session Road, Baguio City, 246 kms north of Manila. The load looks heavy for someone of her size and age, and she indeed appears to be feeling its weight. Still she goes on with the hard work, something that most people in this country find themselves having to do even at a time when they should be retiring.
