PHOTO OF THE WEEK

Young ‘Pacmen’

Boys clad in the native Cordillera costume exhibit their boxing mettle during the Grand Parade welcoming the Chinese Lunar New Year in Baguio City (246 kms. north of Manila) on Jan. 27. They did this show of skill just as the Philippines was celebrating the return of Filipino boxing great Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao from a successful match against Mexican pugilist Erik Morales in the U.S. With the Pacquiao mania that has suddenly hit the Philippines, we can guess that some of these boys may well decide to follow in the champion’s footsteps.
