PHOTO OF THE WEEK

Free Swim

This recently-discovered stream from a waterfall in Amadeo, Cavite (60 kms. south of Manila) has become a vacation spot of sorts, as people flock to it to escape from the summer heat. The stream is small yet people bathe there in throngs, because they don’t have to pay to swim there. In a country where even rest and recreation are now costly and are getting costlier by the day, spots like this stream are bound to become popular.
