Bansang Banal ang Israel
NI RAUL FUNILAS
Inilathala ng Bulatlat
Bayang ginawaran ng banal na halik,
Apat na haligi'y hindi matutumba;
Naisin man nilang lagim ay ihasik
Sa lahat ng sulok at hangad mabura
Ay di matutupad. Pagkat nakatitik
Na ito sa bato't Banal na Bibliya.
(Gulat din ang Hudyong mata'y nakapikit.)
Banal itong pook ng Diyos na mahal
At naging tarundon ang yapak ni Hesus,
Nasaksihang lahat ang kababalaghan
At ito'y niyakap, balana'y lumuhod.
(Lipos na bumantog ang bayan ng hunghang.)
Ang hari't pinuno'y laging mapupusok,
Ngunit yaong puso'y mahilig umibig –
Galit at halakhak laging magkayapos.
Ikaw nga, Israel, tanging dinakila't
Sa sandaigdiga'y palaging babantog,
Rumurok ang hangad sa lahat ng bansa
At ikaw'y kilanling solong anak ng D’yos.
Ehemplong gayahi'y hiwagang ginawa't
Liparin ang langit at doon maghambog.
