PHOTO OF THE WEEK

Seemingly Easy

The woman is very much composed as she walks along a village near Butbut, Kalinga, even as she carries quite a pile of things on her head. It is not easy to balance even just a single object on one’s head, much less numerous items – especially when you are walking on the slopes. But the way the Kalinga woman carries these, it seems all so easy. Who says women are the weaker sex?
