Red Scare

NI MARK ANGELES*
Inilathala ng Bulatlat

Ligwak ng ilaw
ang natatanaw,
nangingibabaw.

 

Dahil kinubkob
ang siyang ubod
na sumasabog.

 

Sikil ang siklab,
animo fuzed quartz
sa halogen lamp.

 

Ano kung pula
ang mga mata
ng Bayan Muna?

 

Pula ang dugo
na sumisikdo
sa pagpintuho.
