Alternative Reader on Nur Misuari

The suspended governor of the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) and ousted leader of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) is once again beating the war drum. He presided last Nov. 3 over a so-called “5th Bangsamoro Congress” and openly called for war. On Nov. 19, his men attacked three military camps and a police station in Jolo, Sulu, leaving 51 people dead and 50 others wounded.

The following articles on Nur Misuari is intended to help the readers understand the man and the problems of Muslim Mindanao.
