The tricycle is considered one of the most reliable transport vehicles not only in Cabugao, Ilocos Sur (433 kms north of Manila) where this picture was taken, but in most parts of the country. This is because of its capacity to traverse both asphalt and dirt road while carrying heavy loads. It can, however, become a hazard to life and limb, when it is overloaded like the one in this photo.
