Reports are rife that presidential son and Pampanga Rep. Mikey Arroyo approached House Speaker Jose de Venecia to solicit the latter’s support for Malacañang’s Charter change moves. The reports went as far as that he was offered the House Speakership – the very position from which President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s allies had ousted him.
