The number of OFWs in death row in other countries show that Filipinos would desperately brave risks and dangers just to earn a decent income. And a lot have become unwitting victims of drug and white slavery syndicates in the process. This also shows the extent to which the Philippine government would go just to be able to deploy OFWs and yet refuses to act decisively to protect their rights.
