bulatlat15-logoMy Bulatlat experience is definitely one for the books. Like a roller coaster ride, I must say. From joining the Labor Day rally, to immersing at Islang Puting Bato in Tondo, to a one-on-one heart wrenching interview with JL Burgos and Editha Burgos, family of the still missing activist Jonas Burgos, Bulatlat has definitely showed and taught me the realities of life.

I learned the ins and outs of true Journalism, touching on issues that are mostly put to the side by mainstream media. I felt empowered being able to tell the story of the people who are either the victim, hero sometimes villain, but always real.

I would love to do the same thing again, given a chance. I wouldn’t have my internship done any other way. I’m glad to have become a part of Bulatlat.
