As the people take to the streets their unheeded demands ahead of Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s fifth State of the Nation Address on July 27, artists show their resistance through art.

Cultural groups Tambisan ng Sining and Barangay Pesante criticize the tightening grip of imperialist United States on the country through the Marcos Jr. administration’s compliance with the Pax Silica initiative, Visiting Forces Agreement, and Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement.
