Seven out of ten Filipinos want Mrs. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo out of Malacañang, a survey showed.

A survey by independent think-tank IBON Foundation revealed that 66.7 percent of respondents believe that Arroyo should be removed as president.

Yesterday, Arroyo said that the “world would not forgive another People Power.” Today is the 23rd anniversary of the people power uprising that toppled the Marcos dictatorship.

Only 19 percent of the respondents said she should stay.

The IBON January 2009 Survey was conducted from January 7 to 16 among 1,500 respondents across various regions and sectors nationwide, and has a margin of error of plus or minus three percent.(Bulatlat.com)
