The November 23 Movement and other groups light lanterns that read “Never Forget” during the second month commemoration of the Ampatuan massacre on Saturday at the College of Mass Communications (Plaridel Hall) in University of the Philippines-Diliman.

Editha Tiamson, widow of UNTV-General Santos driver Daniel Tiamson expressed her gratitude to the media for its support to the victims’ families.

The Ampatuan massacre claimed 57 lives, at least 30 of whom are media workers, making the Philippines the most dangerous place in the world for journalists. (Photos by Carlos H. Conde and Ayi S. Muallam / bulatlat.com)
