In the Maguindanao massacre case, it is no longer a problem of determining who masterminded and did the killings. The massacre was done so brazenly that there is no longer any need to identify the killers. That is why the sudden offer of Zaldy Ampatuan to turn state witness is being viewed with suspicion.
