Chiong Mom Decries Transfer of Daughters’ Rapist to Spain, Slams Arroyo for ‘Injustice’

Although it was Jacqueline’s day off, she went to her office, which was located in the mall, to get her salary. Later that evening the sisters were dragged into a white van parked along Archbishop Reyes Avenue. This testimony was verified by eyewitnesses, including Jacqueline’s officemates and a security guard.

Rusia recalled that the victims were then brought to a house in Guadalupe, Cebu City, owned by the Aznars. It was there that the sisters were first raped in separate rooms. After which, they were brought to Sitio Tan-awan in Carcar where they were gang-raped inside the van before Marijoy was thrown off the cliff, her head wrapped in masking tape. Jacqueline was allegedly brought back to the city.

Marijoy’s body was found two days later. Autopsy of the body revealed that she was raped by more than one man, and was pushed off the cliff alive. She later died of brain hemorrhage and multiple physical injuries including fracture in the skull, left clavicle and ribs; a dislocated knee; multiple lacerations on the forehead and hand; contusions on the forehead and abdomen; and abrasions in various parts of the body. Jacqueline’s body was never found.

Injustice, Again

“Once again, there is an injustice,” a dazed Mrs. Chiong.

“I don’t know what my other children are feeling right now. I honestly don’t know how to comfort them because I was more hurt than anybody else,” she said. (Bulatlat.com)

So let me reword this…. Thanks for the meal!! But yeah, thanks for spending the time to discuss this topic here on your blog.
