September 2, 2010

HONG KONG — On August 29, thousands expressed their sympathies with the families of the 8/23 hostage crisis victims in a day-long commemoration held in Chater Road.

In the morning, an interfaith gathering was held followed by a public speakout and forum.

Led by the Filipino Migrant Workers Union-Hong Kong, the People’s Vigil for Solidarity and Justice was held later that day. Approximately 10,000 people attended the vigil, calling for a thorough investigation of the botched 8/23 hostage crisis and demanding justice to all the victims. People must realize that Gloria is a big joke in the Philippine politics. She must be ousted and jailed very time soon.
