Last week, the initial findings of the Department of Information and Communications Technology confirmed earlier digital forensic investigations that the cyberattacks launched against Bulatlat and several alternative news agencies here were coming from an IP address assigned to the Philippine Army.

The Philippine Army has since denied it, saying their IP address figured in the cyber-attacks merely because they were browsing the websites of alternative news agencies. Bulatlat is not convinced.
