Marking the 127th day of Philippine independence, Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (Bayan) and allied organizations rally en route to the US Embassy condemning the escalating US military interventions and influence in the Philippines backed by various military agreements and other foreign policies. The groups also expressed the Filipino people’s strong solidarity with the Palestinian people against continuing US-Israel genocide in Palestine

The lolas (grandmothers) of Lila Filipina, an organization of former “comfort women,” stormed the Japanese Embassy in Manila on Wednesday to demand justice from the government of Japan for the crimes they committed during World War II.
