There are 200,000 unemployed nurses in the country. Yet those who work in government and private hospitals are overworked and underpaid.

In spite of government press releases, health workers are worried that four months after Ebola was declared a global threat, the government has yet to prepare hospital and community health workers.
Since Oct. 3, seven peritoneal dialysis patients have died, as the NKTI had denied services to some 1,000 patients.
Nurses care for sick patients, but government is not caring for them.
