Rural women condemned the Department of Agrarian Reform's complicity in massive land-grabbing by the Villars, Aranetas, Cojuangcos, Ayalas, and foreign investors.
"Once totally fed up, farmers could actually lead a peasant uprising in the countryside that is directed at Duterte," said Danilo Ramos, chairperson of Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas.
“If we allow land use conversions and corporate housing to continue, both rural and urban poor Filipinos will suffer.”
